It’s 9 am, and students in Groningen are slowly making their way into the Energy Academy Europe lecture hall. They’re waiting for the lecturer. There she is. She quickly turns on the touchscreen and sets it to the right height. She places her laptop next to the screen, HDMI cable in and sound on. It’s great that everything works so well. She can start her presentation in no time.

The Energy Academy Europe of the University of Groningen asked us for an easy-to-use mounting system for touchscreens. Its height also had to be adjustable, so that any user, large or small, can work with it problem-free.

We provided a mounting system that can be moved up and down at the touch of a button. Another useful feature is that everything you need is right at hand; from a multiple socket and HDMI input, to sound control and source selection (HDMI, VGA, etc.). Moreover, all the cables are neatly tucked away, there’s a handy surface for your laptop, mouse or keyboard, and the system’s lift uses relatively little power in stand-by mode. And that means energy is saved.

At the Energy Academy of the University of Groningen, students, researchers and businesses from the Netherlands and abroad collaborate on research and innovation in the field of energy. The sustainable building is energy efficient, and also generates energy.
